ALRIGHT HERE'S WHATS UP

i had to make a website for my Computer Science class at school, so i decided i'd dedicate my site mainly to my trip to edmonton. Its not quite done yet but if you want to see pics of me, Lindsay, Heather, and some others from up there.. then just head on over to that website. Here's the address..

Anyways i had a super fun weekend hanging out with Linds in her dorm and checkin out the clubs and Heathers apartment, and the giant piece of a tree inside some obscure building at UofA (picture on website). Thanx a ton Lindsay for having me :) It was so nice seeing you guys!!

Now we only have 3 more days until LONG-WEEKEND-O-RAMA!! Yay! Plus everyone seems to be coming home for Easter so we have to all do something together. Oh and speaking of that...

El Día de San Patricio!

Alright, i know it's been a while but i've been super busy with school so u can't hate me.
I thought i'd post some pics from St. Patricks Day - see spanish translation above (oh i'm so good at spanish!). Ryan and I and the guys went to Woody's for a little while and Heather and Stef came and met up with us, then we headed over to the Point and Feather to meet up with Robyn & just about everyone else that ever went to Wise Wood. Anyhow it was a fun night:

Alright so Kevin and I got the bright idea of pulling up the couch (that usually sits in front of the fire at woody's) to our table, so we got a kickass rad comfy seat. Everyone was staring but i bet its cause they were just JEALOUS!

Alright well they had a little bit of Irish karaoke going on and Dan, Pat, Robbie and.. that dude (who were all dressed nice and matching, i might add) got up and sang (at least i think that was supposed to be singing). Hehe, oh but it was entertaining as heck. And on the left we have Stef drinking a bottlecap, here are her actual words: "Colllleeeeeen aren't u going to take a PICCCTURE of me taking my SHOTTTT??!?!?". Needless to say.. she probably didn't NEED another shot, but oh well it's Saint Patricks Day - anything goes! (love you steffie!)

Alright well thats it for pictures for right now cause I have to pack my bags - i'm leaving for edmonton in 1 hour!! YAAY for not going to school today and YAAAY for weekend with Lindsay and Heather! Too bad the weather is TERRIBLE. Lindsay why couldn't u go to school in Maui? I promise i'd visit u more if u went there.

I'm sure i'll have tons of pics to post of my North-bound adventure when i get back so I'll talk to you all in a few days :)

PS: I CANT BELIEVE i forgot to mention the coolest thing i did all day -

At 12:00 in the afternoon Darlene, Ryan, Carlee, Jackie, Tiffany and I went to the Den for GREEN BEER!! Yes you heard me right, in the middle of the day, at school, i drank green beer. HOORAY! I just wanted to be able to say that i've done it- and now i can! Plus since i hadn't eaten much that morning the one beer i had actually got me pretty tipsy. Needless to say, Spanish class was REALLY interesting after that!

SRT's strike back

Alright i have a whole whack of new SRTs for you this week

#1 - the 'cousin it' look is definitely back in style


#2 - breaking your MP3 player while running on the treadmill is absolutely no fun, but that just means i get to buy a new one now! wooohoo. those treadmills can be deadly

#3 - the grudge is not a very scary movie. I was LOOKING for one of those 'good thing i have a boy to grab on to cause this is freaking me out' movies, but this just didn't live up to expectations. it was okay though and i grabbed on anyhow ;)

#4 - here's a tip for you: don't wear your pants on your head. OH and look what we made for heather to see when she came to collect the money from our table after being our super server at Red Lobster...

#5 - why do the hours from 5am to 11am even exist? does ANYONE like being awake during those hours? ... i didn't think so

#6 - DEATH WEEK IS OVER!!!!! i can't believe i waited until SRT #6 to tell you this. I SURVIVED IT - as of 2 hours ago my last assignment was handed in and i am HOME FREE baby yeah. Well, i'm sure this week will present its own problems but it can't be anything like death week, it just can't.

#7 - going to edmonton baby!! but Linds if u read this, i think we are only coming up 1 night .. either friday or saturday, and then staying till late afternoon the next day. so i'll talk to you about that later. Heather F i HAVE to see you too babe when come up k??

#8 - I LOVE and MISS train rides home with Kat and Ryan!! We took the train home together this friday and took a couple pictures, train pictures RULE. Na na na na na na traaaain (theme song from train48, oh how terrible):

Awww i love Kat :) And Ryan loves... that guy.. OH MY!

#9 - the weather has been SOO nice the past week, and we all know that good weather makes for cute outfits worn to school. Friday, Jackie and I were both wearing adorable outfits if i do say so myself so i made Ryan take pictures of us in front of the big tree in Science Theatres until we got a good one, he musta felt like an idiotic tourist. SORRY!! But look how cute:

#13 - thanks SO much Stef and Heather for being super customers today at BPs. I love you and your buying appetizers and desserts from me - hooray for upsells. You made my day :)

#14 - does anyone else think that the guy should usually pay for the dates, unless its a special thing that the girl is doing for some occasion or just to be randomly cute... please tell me i'm not the only one here...

Elevator Love Letter

Well, I bet you're asking yourself 'i thought this was death week, how does Colleen have time to update her blog?'. Well, you're right it is death week, thanks for remembering, but there's always time for a quick update in the middle of the night just to let you guys know that i'm still alive and kickin. And BOY am i kickin. I'm now done 2 of the 5 death tasks, which are my stats and computer science tests. They both went really well but i guess we'll find out just how well in a week or so. ANYHOW, here are some pictures from last thursday (aka: crazybusymadhouse thursday) at Cowboys. I went there after work and met up with a plethora of people since EVERYONE WHO WAS ANYONE was there (ha lindsay, this means YOU SUCK). Anyways i didn't even have to pay for coat check cause my friend Raf the bouncer was there and he kept my coat for me, what a guy. Alright i'll try to get these pics in chronological order:

Well the first person i saw was Carlee when she met me at the door and i got to skip the insanely long line that would have taken at least an hour to get through, so THANX babe! What an odd picture eh? I guess we're so angelic that our light just blinds people wherever we are, even in dirty busy noisy nightclubs! And then i saw Ann and Mooney and of course they had to show off a little for the camera.

I don't remember who i found first but at any rate i hung out with Eammon (left) and Oli (far right) for a good portion of the night. That cowboy hat was kickin around and i'm not sure that anyone knew whos it was by the end of the night... ewwww. However Oli's friend did buy us shots of Yag so that was fun.

Screw the chronologicalness, i forget what order stuff happened in. I DO know this however... i saw Duncan N there and introduced him to Carlee and they ended up *ahem* "dancing" together all night. And by dancing... i mean sucking face (don't kill me .. either of you). And the pic on the right is from the cab ride home. OH LORD! it was hilarious. It was Maren, Laura, me and Robbie... and lets just say.. Robbie was right pissed. He was sitting in the front seat and kept turning up the cabbie's 2pac cd so loud that nobody could even THINK. So we'd yell at Robbie to turn it back down and he would.. for like a second and then the ADD would kick in again and UP the volume would go. Buuut he paid for the whole ride himself so i'm not complaining.

Thanks a ton to everyone who came out Thursday, that was SUPER FUN times! Oh and i realize i didn't mention that i saw Robyn and Tayler and Katie there but.. thats cause i saw them for like 1 second and then they disappeared therefore i didn't get to take any pictures of them therefore i couldn't include them in my chronological picture story telling time so THERE! Let that be a lesson.. next time make sure i get a picture of you... that goes for anyone who wants a pic of themselves on my blog.. i can't put one on unless i GET ONE!

Alright, perhaps its time to call it a night, tomorrow i gotta go to school, then go to work then write my spanish paper and then try and study for my spanish midterm.. all the while attempting to not die from this week and my cold.

Edmontonians, i'm planning a road trip up with Carlee on the 18th.. so be ready for me cause i'm coming!!! WOOOHOOO! And Heather F.. this means you because i MISS YOU TOO!! We are going out baby!!

PPS: Carlee and Duncan are now... dating? I think so.. i mean who watches The Notebook at 10pm on a schoolnight with someone you're not dating?? Nobody thats who (unless you're Darlene and Heather on Valentines Day.. unless there's something they're not telling us.. oh boy i'm confused)
