KnitMANIA

Alright well since it's the summer and up until yesterday i have been jobless, i have had lots of time to knit and knit and crochet and crochet to my hearts content. I currently have 2 projects i'm working on. One is my flower purse which you can see me working on in the middle of our Annie Get Your Gun rehearsal (we were running lines, but clearly i'm way too good to have to pay attention).

And here on the left is the picture in my K1 (knit one) magazine of what the finished purse is sposed to look like, and on the right are all of the flowers that i have crocheted so far. Yes, i have a long way to go! But they go by quick and its fun coming up with new color combinations.

And next up we have my newest project and definitely the BIGGEST project i've undertook. This is a baby blanket for Alison, the wonderful music director at Summerstock. She isn't finding out what sex her baby is in advance, so i had to pick a neutral color. I figured this was such a pretty color that it would look good on either a boy or a girl plus it would go with whatever other colors Alison picks out for the baby. Holy man, i love the lacy pattern for this blanket but it takes SOOO long to do! The picture on the right is how much i have gotten done so far, and I've been working on it for 5 days straight. AND LOOK AT THE MONSTER BALL OF YARN. I have 2 of them, TWO OF THEM, for this blanket. I would say that they are bigger than an OSTRICH egg. Man. That is a lot of turqoise.

EEEE I'm so excited to watch the finale of the bachelor tonight. Charlie had better pick Sarah B, she is way too cute to let go. Krisily just bugs me.. a lot (although ANYONE is better than Sarah W).

Incase anyone was wondering, i no longer work at BPs. I now work at the new Moxies that is opening in Southport. Right now we're in training every day and there are ZILLIONS of things for us to memorize. Holy MAN, plus we have tests every day and we have to get above 85% on all of them (or else?!). So thats what i'm up to lately, that AND i'm now discovering how much I like going on WALKS! So, if you feel like going on a walk with me, just gimme a call on a nice day and i'm THERE!

Alright last but not least, i had to post this pic of my dear friend Ms. Stefanie Markle. This is a pic of her and some friends (from left, Jenny, Stef, girl i don't know, Joey) at the Big Rock
"Eddies". Now look closely... at Stefanies dress.. and tell me it's not the cutest thing you ever saw. Now look closer and tell me she's not Carrie from Sex and the City. Alright she doesn't look EXACTLY like her or anything, but she's cute, short, blonde, and DRESSES JUST AS WELL AS CARRIE. I can only hope and pray that someday Stef will give me her leftover used clothing.

On that note, i think i will go knit some more, or read my millions of training manuals from moxies. Or hope and pray for Stefs clothing. And in half an hour watch the bachelor.

Heather is OLLLD

Alright well she might not even see this because she's halfway Across the WORLD, but i'm posting it anyways. A few weeks ago was Heather's 19th bday and oh what fun shenanigans ensued. First off we went out for dessert the night before her birthday at the Chocolate Bar, ohhh soooo good. I had a piece of chocolate sin cake and she had a piece of chocolate ecstacy. How can you pass up cake named like that?? You can't. Anyhow it was raining, so i made her stay outside the car a little longer just for that special touch. I did, however, give her my umbrella being the gentlewoman that i am.

Then after dessert we went to James Browns new place and played some hilarious game where you put the cards on your head and try and figure out who has the highest cards. I dunno.. but it made for good picture taking (click on that one to see the full picture, their facial expressions are priceless).

And then the next day on her actual birthday, when she had to WORK, i took heather her b-day present to her work along with a giant butterfly balloon that was surprisingly expensive for plastic and helium, but she deserves the best. Anyhow, that is my tribute to Heat and i miss her so much right now. Every time something happens and i want to call her and tell her, i remember that i can't and now i have so many things just bottled up inside!!! Lol. Anyhow i hope you're having fun baby and i'll see you soon. (ps: i heard Semi-charmed Life today on the radio and thought of you)

PS: dammit, hunky renovation guy saw me in my gym shorts today, bah! they're going to be poking around my house for a while starting tomorrow morning. plus they're doing the bathroom first and its right next to my bedroom. there goes my sleep-in

So, yes i realize i've been non-existant for a few weeks but.. thats not.. my fault. Ive been busy with exams and summerstock and finding a job and such. Anyhow now i have no excuse so here are some pics from a couple weeks ago when Nikki Kendal and I went to Cowboys for Ladies night.. Kendal has the hookups so we got a limo there for just the 3 of us haha. What fun.. plus we got a whack of free drinks when we got there.. just look at this bounty..

My lord! And we drank all that and much more.

Oooh and we lucked out cause it was 'strippercise' night so there was a chick there teaching it.. if you don't know what it is it's basically an aerobic/dance class with some racy moves, theres no actual STRIPPING involved. Sorry Guys.. but heres a pic..

Alright thats it for tonight. I just went out for a lovely dinner with my darling Cale, and later on i'm going to go see Blaine! Wow everyones home now it's awesome!! Except Akiva.. he's a slow one that boy.
