SO MUCH BSD!!

Okay, for those of you who are totally out of the loop and don't know what BSD is, it stands for "Bermuda Shorts Day" and takes place at the UofC on the last day of classes. There is a beer gardens at the school and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day so the beer gardens was outside this year, with plenty of booze and great bands and lots of fun. Here is a multitude of pictures cause i couldn't pick just a few.. and i have more so if you request more.. i will post them!

Well our day started normally enough.. Kats mom picked me up and drove us to school after a night of projecting with Carlee where we didn't sleep AT ALL. I'm talking like 40 hours of Colleen being awake and then just going straight to school in bermuda shorts!! Alright so i was definitely acting crazy and spent the entire morning laughing like a mad-woman and explaining to everyone that i wasn't drunk yet (as some people actually were) but i was just really overtired. [HAHA oh KAT - i'm TOTALLY lying to you, i'm lying RIGHT to your face. ehehe]

So yes, we went to get a bit to eat and HAD to call up Ryan and Ryan to celebrate with our best buddies.

On the right is a picture taken just after ryan said - "Quick Colleen, do a model pose, look over there!" Then we met up with Nikki, Kendall, Mo and.. that guy. They were all so cleverly looking at someone elses camera while i snapped my pic. Oh so creative.

Alright now on the right we have the "Wise Wood Crew" .. But thats not everyone from Wise Wood Colleen, where are the rest?? GOOD QUESTION.. here they are! (they're hard to round up in one space so i shutterbugged my way all around campus)

Here's Ryan and I, and Ryan and Ryan. 'Chinese Ryan' (yes we actually call him that all the time) got a litttttle tipsy which was awesome cause i've never seen him drunk before. He's a crazy man when u give him smirnoff in a can!! And other Ryan didn't drink at all and ditched out early on BSD to go out with Darlene. PSHA. Still love em both tho!

And here we have Colleen with two handsome young gentlemen. Exhibit A - Thomas McCute (disclaimer-not real last name), he promised to sit with me next year if we have any classes together, so i'm holding him to that, too bad we all meet each other on the LAST FRIGGIN DAY of classes. That was bad timing, why don't we have BSD at christmas time or something?

Exhibit B- Sean Seanny Poo-Poo (a clever nickname i came up with one time at work while really bored), my friend from work who never ceases to amuse me on a boring saturday or sunday shift, he's been away for the past couple weeks so i was Tres-Excited to see him at BSD, work is NO GOOD without you Sean!!

WELL!! All in all it was a GREAT BSD and next time I just hope to take more pictures, see a little more of RYAN and see Darlene in the beer gardens cause she'll finally be 18 my lord, and see a little more of Kat being a little less sick! LOVE YOU GUYS!! Thanx for making my first year so much fun :)

Tower Power!

Alright I'm just posting quickly before i go to bed.. in light of my poor health lately i've decided to make myself a 1:00am bed time EVERY NIGHT. So since my school schedule is KICKASS (meaning i don't start school till noon every day) that means i'll get a good 9 hours of sleep every night.

OH my god!! I love my econ prof <-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> that much. I just went to my email inbox to find 3 emails from good ol Karl the econ prof. Two were identical.. so really only 2 actual emails. Anyhow this is how it went down:

1. said that he added an extra point to everyones midterm scores cause only 8% of the class answered question 36 correctly (i happened to be one of this 8% of geniuses!muahha) so that bumped my score from a 90% to a 93%.

2. said that our final will not be cumulative, it'll only be on 2 chapters. YES you heard me.. 2 chapters!!!

i'm soooo the happiest person right now... uh oh... almost 1:00 i better get to bed!!

I decided to post them however, so that they will forever live on in my blog archives. These pics are from Summerstock rehearsals (we're putting up 'Annie Get your Gun' this year, its going to be fantas-great).

In other news:

- I have a big Spanish paper to write in-class tomorrow.. not open book either. EEEW, this might be really hard. I'll let you know on that one.

- Work was much better on Sunday and i made some decent money. I so don't know what i'm going to do for work this summer. Anyone have a parent or relative that has the hookups to a good office job? I'm really smart and good with computers (ahem.. obviously!).. hook it UP!

- It's 12:46 now, i have 14 minutes to floss, change, and get into bed. Now to you normal people that doesn't seem hard but NEWS FLASH.. i have braces. It takes me at least 17 times longer than you to floss my teeth.

more SRT's please

Alright dudes, I was in a "fuck-off, world" sorta mood earlier but it has sort of mellowed out to an "you're cut, world" type thing, so perhaps these SRTs won't be as bitter as i originally thought they would be. Oh and if u just tuned in and don't know what an SRT is.. it stands for 'Scattered Random Thoughts' and pretty much i just ramble on saying what i think as soon as i think it!

1. work SUCKS, managers suck, weekends suck because i have to work every weekend

2. i feel like throwing a big glass jar across the room and letting it smash into a million pieces on my ugly white water-stained walls

3. kraft dinner with chedder cheese baked on top in the oven really does kick so much ass. I was worried that i only thought this was the best snack on earth because i had been drinking the night me and lindsay made it and you know how after u have drinken, most food tastes better? Well, officially that is not true. It really does kick ass ALL the time.

4. Why can't a girl just eat ice cream? NO SERIOUSLY!! When i buy ice cream at school, say.. perhaps a rolo cone to eat during econ class, the girls friend tells he she's morbidly obese and makes her feel shitty. And then when she has a freaking bad day at work and comes home to the small bit of rolo ice cream in her freezer leftover from last night when she really didn't even eat hardly any ice cream, and eats some of this rolo ice cream while she reads her book for english class.. her dad comes into her bedroom and gets mad at her for eating ice cream because she's supposed to be on a health diet. FUCK. LET THE GIRL EAT HER ICE CREAM.

5. i lied. this is going to be just as bitter as i thought it was

6. why does it seem like all of my friends live in a hole? except for nikki, i haven't been able to get ahold of anyone, nor has anyone called me today. I would like to know, just for interests sake, if they all live in one big hole.. or if they all have their own separate holes. Since it's clear that these holes don't have electricity and telephone lines because my friends can't call me from there.. do they even have candles or a flashlight? Because in that case i'm sure they have written me snail mail and then i'll be sure to watch my mailbox.

8. Hmm, i find it odd that there's never enough time for me to finish all my homework and studying, yet i have plenty of time to sit and write bitter comments on my blog. Oh well, Darlene asked if i had blogged anything lately and i had to say no.. so i figured it was overdue

11. who else can't wait until school's over? I have exactly 24 days till my last exam is over. YAAAY!! Of course those 24 days will be hell, but at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

12. I need something new to knit. Then again i think i don't have time for knitting.. then again i spend tons of time watching tv so if i just converted that time into knitting time.. or did them BOTH at ONCE.. maybe it'd work out. Hmmm what to knit next??

13. Go to my computer science assignment website.. i a couple videos from one night when Evan, Jill, Akiva, and Sarah were over. Hilarious. 14. my mom can be so nice .. SO amazingly nice. Man, i love her.

15. Ryan and I tied on our econ 2nd midterm.. 90%, not too shabby. hooray for studying econ together!

16. Mr. Asparagus is such a boring man by himself. I'm so glad he married Miss Cheesesauce. They make beautiful music together. I can't wait till they make little baby cheesesparaguses. Mmm i will eat so many of their babies!

17. We had a little dinner party last night. I made chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and caesar salad.. while Kevin wrote ALL over my whiteboard. Its some sort of story of his and ryans lives.. see for yourself:

Anyhow Darlene and Ryan brought strawberry daquiri mix and bacardi so we made ourselves some drinks. We were going to play a boardgame but i couldn't find any of mine so we gave up and just listened to music instead. Here's some more pics:

Alright well this looks like a great time to wrap up my SRTs. As you can see I got happier towards the end of this post. Looking back now it seems silly that i let work affect me so much that it ruined my day. NO MORE. I am happy now.
