slow and steady wins the race

I've decided to post more frequent but shorter blog entries. I think i wasn't blogging for a long time because posting a huge long blog like i usually do takes like an hour with all the pics and stuff.

SO i made my decision, I'm going to live in Rez this year. I'm living in the same building as I was last year, with Steph and Jenn, two of my best girls from last yr. The 4th roommate is one of Stephs good friends too, so it should be a freaking BLAST!! The only downside, like i mentioned before, is the driving to work every day. It won't be fun in the winter. BUT it's so worth it. Plus rez is closer to Andrew's house, that makes me happy :)

So, 2 weekends ago Andrew came with my parents and I to my cousins Pam's wedding in Saskatchewan. Country weddings are such great fun. The reception was actually in Cypress Hills and we all stayed in the same 'resort', so it was easy to hang out with everyone in the inbetween times. Here are some of those 'inbetween times':

Andrew and I looking in wonder and awe at the woods... and me crocheting in the car! Yaaay 5 hour car rides.

The actual wedding was hilarious, as was expected because my cousin is hilarious and so is her new husband. The toast to the bride was done by Pam's friends from university.. they all took arts ed. You can imagine, it was a toast filled with drama, dance, music and general hilarity. I hope my friends are that creative at my wedding! There was even a video slideshow involved in the toast. so guys.. get working on your powerpoint!

There's me, the bride Pam, and my other cousin Jessica who was a bridesmaid. The only 3 girl cousins on my Dads side of the family. I looooved Pam's dress, so unique and gorgeous. She looked so great.

OH and check out that SPONGE BOB cake. Haha, it was a really cool wedding for two really cool people :)

SO that was my first short but sweet blog. I have so much more to blog so I will be blogging regularly in the future. I promise.
